SDNH3 #42, Putting the Ooooh in Obispado!    Hares:  Guacamole Bay & Just Cesar

This trail had the longest climb in recent Sultanes history yet we had a good turnout, drawing 4 virigins & a good number of LTNS  to a run/walk/crawl up to the flagpole atop El Obispado - where were celebrated by a wedding party in a Hummer limo.  As our hare who began hashing in East Timor promised, we took the road less travelled down - through prickly bushes & loose stones... all making it with nothing more than a few scrapes.  Stained Shorts, though, almost soiled her shorts later while crossing a street!  Back @ the park we were eventually joined by DFL Just Miguel & our jolly walkers (who made it to the top but apparently got overheated on the way down!).  Our fashionable Finnish virgin Just Hanna was awarded the "Hash Shit" for wearing a Coach bag throughout the run (& reapplying lipstick at least once).  Afterwards many moved to Sierra Madre for their 2 for 1 special on burgers & pitchers...

SDNH3 #41, Wicked Halloween Hash!  Hares (in sprit only): Jesus I'm into Chicks & (motorboat sound)
We crossed a "tunnel of terrror" & field of large crosses on this trail but the greatest horror struck our Trail Master 2 hours earlier when he learned our 2 hares would be unable to attend due to an untimely loss in Brrrrrrr's family...  Miraculously - considering JIMTC's Bachelorette party the night before - our hares had already set the trial in flour, hint cards, candies & provide walkers a route map plus prizes for the most original outfit (a beduin Boyz Connection?) & most candy collected on trail (Just Renee as Flash Gordon!).  Despite some black magic which made the 3x5 card - which would have informed us of a back check - to disappear, the pack eventually completed the SDNH3 1st A to A' trail, then returned to our cars under the moonlight... after a re-hydrating circle.

SDNH3 #40, a traditional "live hare" around Tec de Monterrey!   Hares:  Cornpolio & Pubic Affairs

Our small but agile group had a blast on our 2nd 'live hare' & managed to catch our hares - twice! - thanks largely to our racist virgin, Just Francisco...  Just Juan was just about to catch them as well, but he lost their scent - probably due to the stench of the canal we had to climb down into & cross...   There was also a trail for our walkers which Guacamole Bay (who came despite his bum ankle) reported was appropriate in length, scenery  & well supplied with salty snacks (thanks to the Rayados football match) - good job hares!  Some were concerned about stricter patrols in the "student ghetto," but we enjoyed all our down downs with no incident...

Our more recent photos are now being posted to our members-only FB page, but h
ere is a taste of what our hashes back in 2011 looked like with some of our original members...
